1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better browsing experience, and supply information to website owners.

2. Cookie Categories

Essential Cookies

Velaris Tech does not set any first-party essential cookies. Our website is built with Next.js, which handles session management at the framework level without requiring persistent cookies on your device.

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. GA4 cookies are only set after you provide consent via our cookie consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences.

3. Google Analytics 4 Cookies

Google Analytics 4 uses the following cookies to collect anonymized usage data:

IP anonymization: We have enabled IP anonymization in our GA4 configuration. This means your full IP address is never stored or processed by Google Analytics.

4. Vercel Analytics

Velaris Tech uses Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring. Vercel Analytics does not set any cookies on your device. It uses a privacy-preserving approach based on the Web Vitals API to collect performance metrics such as page load times, interaction delays, and layout stability.

No personally identifiable information is collected through Vercel Analytics. Data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.

5. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity cookies are only set after you provide consent via our cookie consent banner.

6. Calendly Cookies

Our website embeds a Calendly scheduling widget that allows you to book discovery calls. Calendly cookies are only set after you accept cookies via our consent banner. When you interact with the Calendly widget, Calendly may set functional cookies necessary for the scheduling process to work.

These cookies are managed by Calendly and are subject to their privacy practices. For more information, please refer to Calendly's Privacy Policy.

7. Managing Your Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Please note that disabling analytics cookies will only affect GA4 tracking and will not impact the core functionality of our website.

Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically find cookie management options in your browser's privacy or security settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data

Please note that if you disable cookies entirely, some features of third-party widgets (such as Calendly scheduling) may not function as expected.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
